introduction to transfers

Screen printing is not always the most ideal option.. Transfers are a great way to make low-run productions, personalised one-offs, or to print on fabrics which struggle to bond with certain inks. This printing technique is also used for sports teams which require names and numbers on their kits.

We can offer single colour transfers, full colour digital printed transfers, sublimation, and plenty of special effect cut fabric transfers.

Transfers can be made up to 45cm wide, and as long as the roll will go; so we're talking many meters!

Here's a little more info on the different types of transfers we produce...

digital printed transfers

We can print full colour transfers cut in any shape. Perfect for small run photographic quality images needed for t-shirts and other garments. We also use these often on trucker caps when a 1 colour option isn't ideal.

The finish is usually matte, but we can cater for other needs too. We generally use a light weight vinyl which is durable and stretchy.

Our transfers are long lasting if looked after correctly.

A great option for one off and personalised t-shirts.

cut transfers

Our cut transfers come in many colours and many materials/finishes. Available with gloss finishes, matte and more. We can cut any shape and size and even layer to create unique looks.

Custom cut transfers are great for team kits that need personalised names & numbers! Will bond with most fabrics including cotton, polyester & nylon.

sublimation

Sublimation printing is the application of sublimation inks onto a surface using a combination of heat, pressure & time. This combination causes the inks to be converted from a solid to a gaseous state enabling them to penetrate the chosen surface so that a permanent, full colour image is formed.

Ideally used on items which are made of 100% polyester or have a polyester coating. We can apply sublimation transfers to t-shirts, mugs, trucker hats, phone cases, cushion covers, clocks, tote bags, purses, flip flops... Honestly the list is endless.
